DEAR SIRS

PLS ADVICE ME FOR FOLLOWING CLAUSE. BANK IS PROVIDING CONDITIONAL APPROVAL FOR VESSEL OF AGE UPTO 25 YEARS IF THE INSURANCE POLICY SHOULD ALSO COVER SHIPMENT BY VESSEL OF AGE UPTO 25 YEARS.

SUPPLIER IS  NOT AGREE WITH THIS CLAUSE.  REQUEST YOU TO SUGGEST SOME WAYS TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE URGENTLY

A vessel age certificate should be sufficient to evidence compliance with the requirement.

An insurance policy will generally cover the transit of the goods under a specific mode of transport and voyage and in the event of a claim needing to be made the age of the vessel will not factor in the claim being paid by the insurance company
