INSURANCE CLAIM PAYABLE AT DESTINATION

Dear expert,

I would like to know the meaning of 'insurance showing claim payable at destination' that include in letter of credit.

Could somebody help me regarding this matter.

Insurance claim

Hi Friend,

 

the sentence states that the refund of any eventual damage will be paid in the Country of destination, so

consideing eventual difficulties in obtaining licence, foreig exchange permit etc. In some Countries it is difficult to

effect payment abroad (and costly). The insurance company will bear this onus.
