Insurance Certificate or policy

Hi All,

Recently we came across with an case .. Lc calls for Copy of Insurance certificate / policy with blank endorsed.. Now Beneficiary presented Insurance Policy without endorsement... as copy insurance certificate or policy doesnt requre endorsement..

do we call this as discrepancy ?.

Endorsement on copy of Insurance Certificate

Dear Pallavi,

Bank always require endorsement on original Insurance Certificate not on copy of insurance certificate. So this is not a discrepancy.

Regarding Insurance Certificate Endorsement

Hello

If LC mentions the Endorsement is required then it is Discrepancy otherwise no problem.
