Hi,

I want to know whether beneficiary can draw Bill of exchange before the shipment.

LC does not mention about this.

Please mention article no. if applicable.

Hi Alok,

Beneficiary can draw Bill of exchange before the shipment. This is clearly articulated in the article 14(i)

" A document may be dated prior to the issuance date of the credit, but must not be dated later than its
date of presentation "
