Invoice not evidencing "payment condition"

Dear all,

I would like to know your opinion about this matter:

An invoice without the evidence of the payment condition, but with the reference to the documentary credit number, should be considered a discrepancy or not?

The LC does not specify that payment condition was to appear on the invoices.

Does l/c prescribe that

Does l/c prescribe that deliveryterm should be mentioned in the invoice? If not, no discrepancy.

Is the deliveryterm mentioned in field 45 (descriptief of goods)? Then deliveryterm should be mentioned in the invoice. If it is not, it is a discrepancy.

No payment condition on invoice.

This is not a discrepancy.

Hi  Friend,

IMHO, payment terms on invoice, if not requested, is not mandatory.

Next ICC Banking Commission in Singapore will discuss a case where the payment terms conflict with the effective

payment conditions. We will see!
