Friends, I need your help.LC States EXW and Place of Taking in Charge/Dispatch from/Place of Receipt BENEFICIARY'S SITE IN USA OR CANADA.Beneficiary’s makes two shipments, for both the shipment Goods moved from Beneficiary’s SITE in Pebroke, Ontario, Canada but Vessel moved from different ports. One from Newark USA and Second from Montreal Canada.I wish to know as what Port of Loading to take? If the sale is on Ex- works basis there should be no port of loading in the L/C.

I have seen so many LCs which has been issued on Ex work basis, where they put port of loading field in the LC ....:-)

Yes, I have seen far too many also. I hope that through this forum our friends will pick up the correct practices and either not issue L/C's that do not correlate to the Incoterm, or, if they are the sellers, request amendments as applicable.
