Proxi in Insurance document

   As you know according to sub-article 28.a of UCP 600 "  An insurance document, such as an insurance policy, an insurance certificate or a declaration under an open cover, must appear to be issued and signed by an insurance company, an underwriter or their agents or their proxies. ...."
- Who is the proxi ?

- What is difference between a proxi and an agent in INSURANCE field ?

Proxy

A proxy is another way of saying agent.  Excerpt from the legal dictionary :

"A proxy is a person who is designated by another to represent that individual at a meeting or before a public body. It also refers to the written authorization allowing one person to act on behalf of another."
