LC states certificate of origin issued by The Chamber of Commerce.
Beneficiary of country X issues certificate from Chamber of Commerce and industry of country X which states that goods originated from country Y.
Is it legal and valid. Can Certificate of origin of country Y be issued by Chamber of Commerce and industry of country X.
Is the document descrepant.
Shipper has to mention the country of origin in the invoice
We are arranging CO from Dubai chamber of commerce mentioning the origin of goods xxxxxxxxx (different country). Shipper has to mention the country of origin in the invoice and Chamber is certifying the same only. In addition an invoice copy also attaching with the certificate of origin as the supporting document .
May be the advising bank can raise discrepancy on the difference of CO issuer . But, they can ignore.
