Letter of Credit Forum

I am a buyer from India and I want to import goods through DCL from Turkey. I have got the L/c draft from my bank and everthing is OK.

Now: Seller from Turkey is asking me to send the draft L/c text to his bank throught swift to send the Proof of Product from Sellers Bank. But our Indian banks said they can send only the confirmed L/c and not the draft L/c text thru swift. Now what I should do ?

Can any Indian Bank opens Non-Operative L/c to sellers bank, and this will be active by sending the POP ( Proof of product ) from sellers bank
