I have not been able to dedicate as much time to the site as I would like to; consequently my surprise to see the site prosper and flourish without me. I am working on the following:
a) find a programmer that can help make the jobs section work (don't look, it sucks). I am opting for a craigslist.org style interface (simple, searchable by title, location, date of posting and full text search.
b) I have some new material regarding UCP 600 which I will translate (from German)
c) I want to post more sample documents (particularly shipping documents)
I have some other long term ideas (Wiki for a community based commentary on the UCP 600 etc), but with the three points outlined, I will be rather busy for the coming weeks.
I think we need some discussion regarding service providers (banks, etc.) their costs and performance. What do you say ?
Final question: the forum threads get longer and longer: Shall I summarize posts that are more than 2 months old ?

ascending / descending / correct dates
I guess most of us have no idea, if we should look for messages in ascending or descending manner. Some new messages are on top or bottom or middle. And I am not even sure if the dates and time stamps are correct?
It's very difficult to follow the conversations of the forum, since our own messages and messages of the person who we are replying to or who is replying to us are difficult to locate.
The whole site needs to be revamped, so all information is easily viewable / published. I can help with a cheap website builder, if needed.

My client from UAE is ready to issue what he understands a "Letter of Credit" in the amount of USD 1.6m by his bank (National Bank of Abu Dhabi) but this can only be drawn in 2 years time. Who is buying this for USD 1.2m now? (we are no banker but technician and would use this money for buying equipment and render services). Any advice would be highly appreciated.
