One of our carrier / liner says they will not be issuing any bill of lading instead they will provide FCR. But according to our LC we need to submit bill of lading.
Please advise whether we need to get it amended?
Also is there any harm using FCR in lieu of Bill of Lading - for an exporter?

Dear Mr. Ravindran,
FCR means forwarder certificate of receipt. You can tell buyer to amend the letter of credit where FCR is only document to negotiate L/c. inplace of current document stated in L/C.
